Sources and evidence
Factual claims should be linked to relevant sources. For health topics, we prefer public health agencies, medical institutions, clinical guidelines, and original research. We distinguish research findings from practical examples and avoid presenting an association as proof of cause.
A source link is not an endorsement of every statement in an article. Older articles may need further revision as evidence changes. Readers can report an unsupported or outdated claim through the contact page.
Bylines and qualifications
A named author is credited where their identity is established. The Fitness Falcon publication byline is used where there is no separately confirmed individual contributor profile. We do not describe a contributor as verified, medically qualified, or an expert without a basis for that description.
Medical review
Health articles are general educational information, not personalised diagnosis or treatment. They are not presented as clinically reviewed unless a qualified reviewer is named with the date of review. For personal symptoms, treatment decisions, or exercise limitations, consult an appropriate health professional.
AI and editorial assistance
Some articles have used AI-assisted drafting. AI output is not a source of evidence or a substitute for checking factual claims. The publisher remains responsible for the content, attribution, and corrections. We do not present AI assistance as a human medical reviewer.
Dates and updates
The publication date indicates when an article was first published. An updated date indicates a material change to the article or its attribution. Formatting-only changes do not establish that the medical content has been reviewed.
Corrections
Send the article URL, the passage concerned, and any supporting source through our contact page. The publisher will assess the report and amend or remove inaccurate information as appropriate. Substantial corrections should be explained on the affected article.
Products and commercial relationships
Product articles should distinguish manufacturer claims from independent evidence or firsthand testing. A sponsored placement or affiliate relationship should be disclosed on the affected article when applicable. We do not claim a product was tested simply because it is listed.
